PROGRAMS

To Friends of our Center for Spirituality,

I want to let you know of some exciting news at the Center.

This fall we will begin a Post Graduate Continuing Education Certificate Program. This will be a one year program, which will also fulfill 30 continuing education credits for licensing for social workers. We have applied for licensing for psychologists and will have final word shortly.  Please read below to see the outline of the full program.

Here is a brief overview:

There will be three Saturday programs which will be open to a wider audience than only those in the certificate program. Those in the certificate program will have six additional two hour seminars, similar to what we have had for the last few years. These seminars will be limited to only those in the certificate program. In the seminars, which will again be facilitated by Kathie Hart, LCSW-C, we will focus on application of topics of the larger Saturday programs. We will be able to discuss general and specific practice implications. And, as we have done in the past, we will be able to join with like-minded clinicians, and grow together.

For the Saturday programs we are thrilled to be bringing in internationally known speakers, including Dr. Ken Pargament, Sharon Salzberg, and Dr. Mark Epstein. Our own center directors, Michael Sheridan and I will also do the spring workshop on ethics.

The building of this Certificate Program has already been quite a journey and I truly hope you will consider joining us for the first Certificate Program.
